Applied Strength Reformer Certificate Course
Applied Strength Reformer is a PROGRESSIVE Pilates Academy education course designed for Pilates teachers who want to expand the strength potential of the Reformer while maintaining the integrity of the Pilates method. Blending contemporary strength science with classical Pilates principles, this course explores how to apply progressive resistance, functional movement patterns, metabolic conditioning, and intelligent interval training within Reformer programming. Teachers will learn how to stimulate neuromuscular strength, develop lean muscle mass, and design metabolically effective sessions while preserving the precision, breath, and control that define Pilates. The result is a modern approach to Reformer training that supports stronger, more resilient bodies and reflects the evolving demands of today’s clients.
Led by a Pilates Master Trainer and former Irish International Weightlifter, a six-time Irish Champion and Irish Powerlifting record holder, this course offers a rare and powerful perspective on strength within the Pilates environment.
